Our Philosophy:

• To create a stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, exploration and learning: where children have fun and make choices.
• The program is semi-structured to provide a variety of choices and allow for free time play and activities.

Our Staff:

All of our wonderful Out of School Care staff meet the BC Child Care Licensing requirements. They are all First Aid Certified and are dedicated to creating a safe and fun environment for your children. 

We have three caring and highly qualified Preschool Educators. All three staff meet all BC Child Care Licensing requirements, and have years of experience complimented by a calm, enthusiastic, creative, fun, and safety-focused way of working with your children.

The Society:

Hillcrest Elementary Out of School Care is a non-profit organization which is run by a Board of Directors made up of parents. The Society was formed in 1993, with the principal and a group of parents after recognizing the need for an After School Care program to support families. Ready Set Grow Preschool is open to the entire community, and began in 2001.
